Announcement for ACHA Association Liaison to GLMA
ACHA is seeking candidates from the membership to be considered for appointment as ACHA's Association Liaison to the Gay & Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA).
This individual will serve as our Association Liaison to GLMA for a term of three years, expiring March 31, 2013.
This position announcement seeks to appoint a volunteer member as ACHA’s principal liaison to the GLMA helping to address the healthcare needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) college students and other LGBT members of the campus community. The intent in creating this liaison relationship is to establish and maintain effective communications and coordination between ACHA and GLMA. The appointed individual will be expected to represent college health and ACHA at the annual meeting of GLMA, and as requested, in other conference calls or forums that might be conducted within GLMA. Travel for attendance at one GLMA board meeting (in conjunction with the GLMA annual meeting) is supported by ACHA.

Those ACHA members wishing to be considered for appointment as the Association Liaison to GLMA must be current regular or student individual members of ACHA.
