It outlines the various important steps that, as an Author, you need to follow in preparing your manuscript for a successful publication. This presentation aims to provide advice about how to properly structure your article. From the title and keywords, right through to the conclusion and references, all the essential criteria are covered to make sure it can be a success. The importance of using of proper scientific language in a manuscript is covered in the following presentation. All the main ways to present your work, including the correct use of tenses and grammar, as well as why proper language is vital, are featured in this module.     ACHA designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

  • Sponsored by ACHA, a designated provider of continuing education content hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. This program is designed for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) to receive up to 1.0 total Category 1 continuing education contact hours. Maximum advanced-level contact hours available are 1.0. There are 1.0 Continuing Competency credits available.

Successful Completion/Post Test

It is the policy of the American College Health Association that when a post-test is required upon completion of a continuing education activity, participants must receive a passing grade of 80%. If participants receive a grade lower than 80%, they will be given the opportunity to re-take the post-test one time. If they receive 80% or higher the second time, they will be awarded continuing education credits/contact hours for the activity. We encourage participants to complete the post-test and evaluation form immediately after viewing the download. Those with a passing grade of 80% on the post-test will receive their CE certificate electronically within two weeks.
