Inspiring Hope & Real Solutions to Address College Mental Health and Well-Being

Join ACHA for a high-impact gathering of student health and wellness professionals, higher education officials, and policy leaders, all convened to discuss student mental health and well-being. Mental health and well-being dominate the headlines today as colleges and universities continue to explore ways to implement programs and services that positively influence campus well-being and ensure proper access to mental health services. The 2019 ACHA Innovations Summit brings together thought leaders to take a deep-dive into key trends and innovations being applied today to build campus cultures based on well-being and new strategies being utilized to solve key challenges in college mental health.

2018 Summit

This summit will touch on topics such as what student well-being is, how to measure it, and what innovative approaches campuses are taking to promote a more holistic approach for their students. In addition, panelists at this summit discussed the challenges campuses face in meeting the basic needs of an evolving student body, particularly regarding hunger and homelessness, and discuss funding mechanisms, primarily via student health insurance plans. The summit took place October 8-9, 2018, at George Washington University in Washington, DC.

2018 Program Information

Building off the success of ACHA's 2017 Mental Health Symposium, this year's summit will be broken into two 2-day concurrent programs:

Program 1—Building a Culture of Campus Well-Being

This summit will touch on real-world innovative solutions to improve student well-being and how to measure it and promote a more holistic experience for students.
