Take advantage of 2,000 qualified college health and wellness professionals in one location! Institutional members can book private rooms to conduct one-on-one interviews or informal group recruitment sessions to showcase your school and any available or upcoming job opportunities. These sessions are a great way to save time and money since thousands of qualified college health and wellness professionals will be in the same location. We’re excited to bring this new opportunity ACHA 2019.

For maximum visibility, use ACHA’s Career Center when posting your open positions.

Anyone from your institution who plans to participate in the recruiting sessions or interviews must register for the meeting (either full conference or daily rate). No exceptions. Aside from registration and meeting attendance, there is no additional cost to participate. 

Ready to sign up? Just follow the steps below:

STEP 1: Determine which type of session best fits your needs – a small group recruiting session or a personal interview – or a combination of both. Consider hosting a small group informational session early in the week, followed by personal interviews if you have current job openings.

Small group sessions will be set up with a head table in the front of the room, a table for attendees to check in and pick up materials, and scattered seating in cocktail rounds (for approximately 40 people). Rooms set for personal interviews will have one 6 ft. rectangular table with four chairs, plus a table for materials.

STEP 2: Decide what days and times work best for you. We have rooms available on Thursday and Friday, corresponding to the times of the educational sessions (8:00 am – 5:00 pm) and over lunch.

STEP 3: Gather the information you will need to complete the sign-up form. If you are scheduling a group session(s) you will be asked to provide a short description (see example in Step 6). You’ll also need to include a contact name and email, as well as deadline for responses (if applicable).

If you will be discussing specific jobs during the group session and would like to have them posted on the ACHA website, include a link to where the jobs are posted or submit a pdf of the job description. Consider also posting them to the ACHA Career Center, for maximum visibility.

STEP 4: Complete the 2019 Recruiting and Interviewing Sign-up Sheet.

STEP 5: ACHA will confirm your date and time and assign you to a room within the Sheraton meeting space.

STEP 6: ACHA will post your information on our website. For group sessions we will list the following:

As attendees respond to you directly, you might find that you need to reserve more rooms for personal interviews. If so, simply complete the same form to request what you need. Note that if the rooms fill quickly, not all days and times might be available as we get closer to the meeting.

Notes on Logistics:


  • ACHA cannot provide any audio-visual equipment or food and beverages in the recruiting or interview rooms, but we will provide a form for you to submit directly to the Sheraton (coming soon). All expenses will be billed to you directly.
  • You are encouraged to bring signage, banners, printed materials, etc. to include inside your reserved room but we ask that you not display any signage outside of the room. There are LED signs beside each door and this will indicate your institution’s name and the time of your session.
  • There will likely be another institution using your room prior to and following your session. Don’t bring signage or materials that require more than 5-10 minutes to assemble or dismantle.
