An ACHF partnership with Hologic, Inc.
Congregate living settings and a tendency toward risky behavior leave college campuses and their surrounding communities vulnerable to the spread of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV. While many campuses are able to deliver holistic sexual healthcare to their students as recommended in ACHA’s Best Practices for Sexual Health Promotion and Clinical Care in College Health Settings guidelines, other campuses, for a variety of reasons, are not.
The STI Prevention and Testing (SPT) Mini Grant Program aims to provide small-scale financial support to high-needs institutions to develop, implement, and maintain effective and innovative STI prevention and management strategies. Awarded campuses will receive grants between $2,500-$5,000 to support their 2025-26 Academic Year programs.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available soon. The submission window is anticipated to be open from May 5 to June 15, 2025.
Project Outputs
ACHF and Hologic are partnering to develop a knowledge base of innovative STI programs to serve as a resource and model for other institutions. Look for a summative report and webinar in the fall of 2026.
