HPV is one of the most prevalent sexually transmitted infections, yet HPV vaccination rates remain well below target levels. Despite endorsements from all major health organizations, HPV vaccination continues to be plagued by mis- and disinformation.
Campus student health centers are the natural and perhaps most vocal champions for increasing HPV vaccination. ACHF and Merck have partnered to create a #GenZCanBeatHPV social media campaign for students and their families, which is focused on normalizing and building demand for HPV vaccination.
